Here at Belton Woods we’re proud to have hosted numerous PGA tournaments over the years, making us one of the top golf resorts in the East Midlands.
Our 36-hole golf complex is made up of two courses that offer totally different golfing experiences. The Lakes puts your skills to the test with water hazards and bunkers, while The Woods gives you the chance to practise your swing on narrow tree-lined fairways with undulating greens.
If your game needs work, head to our practice green, or get expert tips from our resident PGA professional Iain Fulton. Then, when you’re all golfed out, take the banter to The Claret Jug clubhouse for a well-earned drink in front of Sky Sports.

The course was in very good condition, considering the swings in weather the week preceding. Greens especially were in excellent condition.
The courses are well laid out and very picturesque. There are also great club facilities, including a Pro Shop and bar. The food and drink options at the bar are very good. This is one of the most challenging and interesting courses I've played.
Played both courses numerous times, always enjoyable. Windy conditions provided a challenge but the course was in great condition. Booked the latest tee time and just about got around before it was too dark!

First time playing The Lakes. Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge: accomodation fairways, responsive greens and interesting approaches with the water and sand. Staff friendly, polite and welcoming... We will 100% be back.

Having not played the Lakes Course for a number of years, I was blown away by how good the course was... so much better than I remembered! Greens were fast and true, bunkers were great and fairways lush - a top, top course.
A very nice venue with two great challenging courses. We played the Woods on this occasion and found it to be a good challenge, in very good condition and most enjoyable. The shop is fantastic as is the facilities, clubhouse and food.
Group of 12 of us spent 3 days & two nights here again for a Society Golf Tournament. Service, food, course and accomodation all excellent. Already planning to hold our Ryder Cup here next year.
