Fantastic hotel and staff Excellent check in by a young lady helpful young guy on reception on check out when I had a query lovely food in the restaurant very helpful staff lottie and Emma in the evening and a young guy from Newcastle at breakfast great leisure facilities and lovely spa treatments from Helen thank you all we will be back for another visit

Lottie was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole experience. From the start, she made everything feel easy and comfortable, always taking the time to listen and make sure everything was just right. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out, and it was clear she genuinely cares about providing great service. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she handled everything with patience and a smile. I would highly recommend Lottie to anyone — she truly goes above and beyond and makes the whole experience a pleasure

Great hotel to stay for any occasion, spa treatments we had were so relaxing. Pool and sauna were amazing. Great service by Bella and the team when having our meal, will definitely be back.

Beautiful Hotel and fantastic golf courses, although very early spring, the courses had been well maintained, the greens very good. Visited the spa which was really nice, pool, sauna and steam room clean and relaxing. Our package was exceedingly good value for money, the room was immaculate

Lottie S was our waitress for our evening meal she was very attentive and kind. Regardless of being really busy Lottie consistently checked in on us. Thank you!

Hotel was lovely, but the reception needed more than 1 lady as there were lots of people when 3 pm check in was allowed. The bar was very busy and the 2 ladies serving were struggling with a lack of glasses. Very loud in the bar area lots of groups of golfers shouting at each other. Dining Room was pleasant, service was good. Rooms very nice although ours was a long way from reception, which was ok as we had parking close outside so easy to take bags in without treking thro all the corridors. Rooms very clean, and warm. Pleasant friendly staff, a good stay.

My husband and i both had 75 mins of treatments and i cant praise my therapist Bathsheba enough. She did a fantastic back to business massage followed by a wonderful express facial. She made me feel very relaxed and calm after a few sressful weeks. I would highly recommend Bathsheba and hope that she is available on my next visit which hopefully wont be too long to wait for. Thank you Bathsheba.

Brilliant spa treatment done by hayley. First I had a back to business massage which was fantastic. This was followed by an express facial which was so good. Hayley is very professional and very polite. I would definitely recommend Hayley for treatments 🤩🤩🤩👌👌👌

I met a lovely Ewelina at the bar, such a lovely lady. She took care of me with lots of kindness and made me feel super relaxed for the rest of my evening.

Holly and Emma were excellent and professional throughout in serving our very challenging golf party. Always friendly, always polite regardless of the behaviours of the group who although not rude were somewhat ruckass. Well done and thanks for the great service

Gorgeous hotel with amazing staff, especially Ewelina in the bar area. She was great, so friendly and helpful, saved the day when the restaurant had no room for us. She looked after us in the bar area and made us feel just as special as being in the restaurant. Rooms are stunning, had a beautiful view of the golf course from our room. Pool area is spotless and leisure staff are all very helpful and attentive, especially a lovely blond lady, I didn’t catch her name. Reception staff were brilliant. We first visited this hotel over twenty years ago when it first opened, will definitely be returning.

Fantastic spa day as part of the Qhotels deal. All the staff we met were friendly and the facilities were wonderful. I found the whole spa package really flowed and appreciated the plentiful seating at each area. We enjoyed the pool, sauna,spa, jacuzzi and relaxation room. Lunch was also nice and was nice to enjoy in our robes as was linked to the spa. Huge shout out to my therapist Bathsheba who was so friendly and knowledgeable , the time just flew. I chose the frangipani scrub which was so nice a massage and exfoliation in one. Will be back when in the area.

We recently spent two nights here to celebrate both a birthday and a funeral. Check in was good and efficient. We had pre booked for dinner bed and breakfast on the first night and BnB on the second The room was spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately the heated towel rail did not work so had wet towels and the wardrobe could have done with more hangers The leisure centre is good and well maintained,with friendly staff on reception who explained everything . We enjoyed the pool and sauna The restaraunt was a disappointment. The staff were all helpful and friendly. It was let down by the menu,which was not very good for a hotel and by it's presentation. Many of the meals being over cooked and tasteless. Breakfast was a buffet with most things catered for. Unfortunately the food was not kept warm under the lamps as well as it should be. The coffee was a disappointment. Dispensed out of a machine. It was very weak and tasteless. The buffet served at the funeral reception was slow at being replenished and many sandwiches,especially the tuna were a bit light on any filling There is plenty of parking and a good number of charging points for EV's plus a good number of bays for blue badge holders The grounds are well maintained and have some good walks around them. With well maintained global courses.
