Explore our Grantham golf course, Lincolnshire .

Here at Belton Woods we’re proud to have hosted numerous PGA tournaments over the years, making us one of the top golf resorts in the East Midlands. Our 36 hole golf complex is made up of two courses that offer totally different golfing experiences. The Lakes puts your skills to the test with water hazards and bunkers, while The Woods gives you the chance to practise your swing on narrow tree-lined fairways with undulating greens.

If your game needs work, head to our practice green and TrackMan Driving Range, or get expert tips from our resident PGA professional Iain Fulton. Then, when you’re all golfed out, take the banter to The Claret Jug clubhouse for a well-earned drink in front of Sky Sports.

A real test for players, lakes guard the approaches to many of the greens, so course management and shot placement are key. The holes are long and the fairways tight, so anything wayward from the tee could result in you having to lay up in front of the water.

Our shorter (and more forgiving) woodside course, the fairways and natural hazards need careful negotiation - a real 'thinkers' course for high handicappers and pros alike. It’s slightly more undulating than The Lakes and is very picturesque, running by our on-site lodges.

Cannot fault this hotel
This is not the first time staying at this hotel and wont be the last. Cannot fault this hotel. Rooms were very clean. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We had our meals in the restaurant on both nights of our stay and very lucky to have Hattie as our waitress. Her service was impeccable and she is very personable. I’d also like to mention one of the restaurant managers, Amanda. She has been amazing too, bending over backwards in the past to accommodate us. See you next month.
Our stay at belton woods
Hattie was really polite and nice and gave very good service at dinner was perfect
Good fodder
Enjoyed the food at dinner, Emma was a good server, we wish her all the luck as a firebreather on Britain's got talent!
All round brilliance
An all round great experience... great location, high standard rooms and facilities, restaurant excellent (if not a wee bit pricey), staff marvelous (efficient, friendly and helpful). Will definitely go again
Very good all round
Really enjoyed our stay, played both courses which were in good condition. The site seemed busy when we arrived but we were pleasantly surprised that on both days the golf was relaxing with no one pressing or holding us up. Couldn’t fault the hotel, big comfortable room, good shower. The food was delicious and service very good and all good value for money. Very happy with our visit and would recommend.
60th birthday Spa break
We had a lovely one night spa break here to begin my month of 60th birthday celebrations. The hotel had lovely decor and is well set out. We were offered a room upgrade which meant we could enjoy the beautiful weather sitting out on our balcony looking over the grounds. This also included a few complimentary drinks in the mini bar, coffee machine and a spacious room. All the staff we encountered were very helpful, smartly dressed and friendly. The dining room is light and airy offering a delicious, varied menu, we dined very well. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of goods to suit all requirements. The spa treatment was very relaxing, and Beth my beauty therapist, had an incredible massage technique, it truly was the best treatment I’d had at a spa. The steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, pool and changing areas were clean. There were a few tiles broken/missing around the jacuzzi edge where the railings were which looked untidy. We were made aware that swimming lessons took place late afternoon so we did leave earlier than planned as it did get a bit noisy and less relaxing. We would definitely return as the location and overall experience was perfect and great value for money. Our only regret, that we didn’t check in earlier and that we should have stayed longer!
WELL WORTH A VISIT
A busy bank holiday weekend but nonetheless ample car parking. Reception was efficient, friendly and informative, explaining the package booked. Our room was spacious unusually for a modern hotel, clean and well appointed, with a view of the 9th green. Dinner was OK, without being exceptional, and the service efficient. Noise level in the corridor was fine after the children went to bed elsewhere, the bed comfortable and room a nice temperature. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice and well replenished. Check out seamless. Have stayed before, and once more, based on this experience will stay again. However, please do something with the awful music on a continuous loop.
Nice hotel
Me and my wife had nice time here, the hotel is very nice, nice pool, spa, wife had some treatments, she said the treatment she had was very good, especially the lady who gave her the treatment was very knowledgeable, Meals in the main restaurant was very good, clean sauna and steam, Just one down side, we arrived on the Friday, room was not ready, we was early, so we decided to have some lunch in the sports bar area, the lady serving was behind the bar, but just carried on with what she was doing, I did have to wait some time until she was ready, But also a bit arrogant with her conversation, Then the second day we had lunch again on the terrace, ordered our food, the same lady took our order, with not a friendly face I might say, We then had to wait around 45 mins for our lunch, while the said lady was chatting and laughing with golfers on the terrace, Another staff member then came out and said did you order food, as it’s been left on the bar area, and was cold, we didn’t complain as we did not want to wait anymore, Maybe the original waitress could have done her job better and checked if our food was there, rather than being outside chatting. Apart from that we will return to this hotel, as like the hotel and area.
Family stay with dog
Lovely location very nice bars, dog friendly everywhere with some great walks around the hotel grounds. Room great, bed very comfy, bathrooms a little dated. We were a bit late to breakfast 9:40am so was winding down not the greatest but could have been timing. Overall a great place to stay.
Great service at the Bar & Grill at Belton Woods Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort. Food and atmosphere were excellent, but a spe
