Belton Woods Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, Lincolnshire

Had a wonderful experience at Belton Woods restaurant. I want to particularly highlight our server, Emma, who was friendly, engaging, enthusiastic and funny. She made our meal great and we were a larger group, with some larger individuals who wanted a lot of onion rings. Nothing but great things to say, thanks Emma.

Fabulous Mum and Daughter time. I’m celiac and the I was well catered for, excellent. The staff in the sports bar went over and above, they are a credit to the hotel.

A lovely stay. Facilities and service were great. Pool and sauna/steam room gave us a lovely relaxing time and a well equipped gym too. Our son enjoyed the driving range and the computerised analysis and we also enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea during our stay.

I would like to leave a sincere review for waitress Kateryna Makieieva. She is very attentive, friendly, and professional in her work. Kateryna creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, responds quickly to guests’ requests, and is always polite and smiling. Thanks to employees like her, guests truly want to come back again. Thank you for the excellent service and wonderful experience!

Once again a wonderful stay to celebrate our 57th wedding anniversary. Our room was very comfortable and air conditioned, which at the end of May was very nice to have as it was so hot. Lovely breakfast each morning, and I had a lovely spa treatment and Skye was an absolute delight. The only slight negative was the disabled parking which we understand is being looked into.

Lovely staff and great food Thoroughly enjoyed it!

We had originally booked to stay 2 nights at the hotel as our car was being serviced. We had previously stayed before and found the rooms to be clean and very comfortable. Dining in the restaurant was excellent with good service and food. In the event we had to stay an extra night as our car was not ready. We thank Nicola and her team for arranging a room for us at the last moment. We would also like to thank the management team for the professional way they handled the response to the fire alarm alert on the Friday morning. We certainly will be returning to the hotel and can highly recommend it.

Good location for us comfortable room good bar and dining . Appreciate being able to exercise my dogs along the edge of the golf course.

Really good food in the restaurant on 15/06/26 and had a brilliant server Emma who put it with our rabble!

Belton Woods is a beautiful, well maintained hotel in secluded grounds making it a very peaceful location. The team on reception were very helpful and friendly upon checking in (and out) as well as dealing with a few queries we had. The ladies in our group were able to use the spa / pool facilities prior to checking in as our partners were on the golf course and once we checked in, whilst the rooms were a fair walk from the reception (such was the size of the hotel), they were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Our booking included a partial payment towards dinner (we would cover the balance of our meal if we ordered over and above this amount) which was fine right up until the fire alarm went off! Thankfully no fire, just excess smoke from the kitchen which resulted in (rightly so) those who were eating dinner having their meals re-done which resulted in all later bookings for the evening being pushed back. The team member who was overseeing the restaurant that evening did handle the situation very well given the large number of complaints she received but it did result in our party having to leave the hotel, paying for taxis into Grantham and paying for a meal or else we would not have eaten 'til very late at the hotel which was not something we wanted. I cannot fault the service received at breakfast by a male team member whose name sadly I did not get, but he handled our situation with not having dinner incredibly well and was the one who ensured that we received some form of compensation for this. Albeit not quite covering the loss, we appreciated the help he was able to offer. Once again, on the whole great staff, beautiful location and the spa treatment was absolutely bliss. This is predominantly a golf resort however and unless you are going to spend a lot on spa treatments / use the gym and pool, there is precious little else to do and you would need to drive to explore the local area with Lincoln being @ 35 min drive away.
