I had a large room that contained everything I needed. The bathroom was also large, and the shower was great. I ate and drank in the bar. The food was tasty and the staff very friendly. If I had to be picky, I would have liked a better range of bitters, but overall everything was good.

We returned for our 2nd visit to Belton Woods for a 3-night Easter Break & thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again. Our room was excellent, we were very pleased to get a balcony on this occasion. Beds were comfy, lots of towels & possibly the best water pressure in England! In addition to enjoying a very nice breakfast each day, we ate in the restaurant & the lounge area on 4 occasions & the food was of an extremely high standard, particularly for the price point. Our highest praise however must go to the staff, every single member that we met, were exceptionally friendly & very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Special mention must go to Dina in the restaurant, she was so nice, efficient & even remembered us from last year, which was a real bonus. We were advised when booking to join the “Breakaway Club,” which we did for a one-off charge of £49 I think it was, & it was well worth it as it gave us discounts on rooms, 10% off drinks, golf & Spa treatments. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that you download the card before arrival, as we didn’t receive the email link to do so & it did cause some confusion when we checked out! Looking forward to trying other hotels in the group, especially now that we are “Breakaway Members now!

A very enjoyable stay. The room was clean, and spacious welcoming. The hotel vibe was great and the staff most helpful, friendly and accomodating. Whilst we did not use all the amenities - they looked amazing.

Good hotel, good food and good golf. Staff very good. Had Holly as our waitress in the restaurant who was excellent.

Lovely location on outskirts of Grantham. Though hotel was busy at end of Easter half term, the staff were very professional and always had time to deal with you. Holly served our table of 6 for evening meal, and was very courteous and looked after us with a smile. Evelyn in the Spa gave a very good treatment after asking for my needs.All staff were very courteous and welcoming.

Had evening cardio class, taken by Richard last night. Class was hard, but enjoyable, and catered for all abilities. Richard was brilliant, running us through a proper warm up, and more importantly, a warm down at the end.

The Grounds, Golf course and exterior looked great on approach to the hotel. It took a long time to find a parking space. All the public rooms looked beautiful. Most of the staff were excellent, as they were understaffed due to a very busy 4 day golfing tournament so it was very busy. I booked 2 rooms, 117 for us & 209 for our friends, 117 was a lovely large room and bathroom and most of it was clean, although on arrival there was a rogue pair of socks left by a previous guest behind a chair that we had to ask to be removed, which it was almost immediately. Our friends requested softer pillows from reception on the first night but they never materialised. We went into dinner the first night and it took 3 hours to complete our service and although the food was nice but because they were so busy food was left to stand on the pass so varied in temperature and a fried egg was so hard even a knife wouldn’t go in it. Again the waitresses kept apologising and they worked really hard. On our second night the service and food was much improved so came out feeling happier. Manager Ben and Amanda did apologise for the service regarding the previous night. Breakfast was pretty standard and from a coeliac point of view they had a GF section and hot food was ordered at the table albeit it took 30 minutes to arrive on our departure day. The spa is very nice especially the pool and very clean.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Lakes course. Accomodation very nice indeed. Food quality v good and restaurant staff ( Bella) were great. Very helpful and professional and a good laugh.

Food was very good and our waitress Bella looked after us superbly.

Emma in the restaurant is a little star. Her customer service is exceptional and she is so friendly, a credit to the restaurant team. I also had an Indulgence Spa treatment which was fabulous. All the spa staff were very friendly with great service. The treatments were very good and the Indulgence package was very good value for money.

Cannot praise Emma highly enough. Her customer service skills were second to none. She was friendly, attentive, professional and helpful. Thank you Emma

Had a delicious meal in the restaurant last night. Our server was a delightful young lady, Emma. So pleasant and helpful.

This is a nice comfortable hotel with good facilities. The sign of a good hotel is how they deal with problems. We had an issue that was resolved quickly to our complete satisfaction. Gemma of the reception desk , was charming and very efficient. Gemma is very professional and a great asset to the hotel. We found all the staff to be very personable and seemed to enjoy their jobs, in particular, the staff at breakfast.Our room was clean and comfortable and well maintained. Highly recommended.
