Holly and Emma brilliant service
Holly and Emma were excellent and professional throughout in serving our very challenging golf party. Always friendly, always polite regardless of the behaviours of the group who although not rude were somewhat ruckass. Well done and thanks for the great service
Family break at Belton
Gorgeous hotel with amazing staff, especially Ewelina in the bar area. She was great, so friendly and helpful, saved the day when the restaurant had no room for us. She looked after us in the bar area and made us feel just as special as being in the restaurant. Rooms are stunning, had a beautiful view of the golf course from our room. Pool area is spotless and leisure staff are all very helpful and attentive, especially a lovely blond lady, I didn’t catch her name. Reception staff were brilliant. We first visited this hotel over twenty years ago when it first opened, will definitely be returning.
Great experience
Was looked after by Ewelina - brilliant service. Will look forward to coming back.
QHotel spa day
Fantastic spa day as part of the Qhotels deal. All the staff we met were friendly and the facilities were wonderful. I found the whole spa package really flowed and appreciated the plentiful seating at each area. We enjoyed the pool, sauna, spa, jacuzzi and relaxation room. Lunch was also nice and was nice to enjoy in our robes as was linked to the spa. Huge shout out to my therapist Bathsheba who was so friendly and knowledgeable , the time just flew. I chose the frangipani scrub which was so nice a massage and exfoliation in one. Will be back when in the area.
A family weekend
We recently spent two nights here to celebrate both a birthday and a funeral. Check in was good and efficient. We had pre booked for dinner bed and breakfast on the first night and BnB on the second The room was spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately the heated towel rail did not work so had wet towels and the wardrobe could have done with more hangers The leisure centre is good and well maintained, with friendly staff on reception who explained everything . We enjoyed the pool and sauna The restaraunt was a disappointment. The staff were all helpful and friendly. It was let down by the menu, which was not very good for a hotel and by it's presentation. Many of the meals being over cooked and tasteless. Breakfast was a buffet with most things catered for. Unfortunately the food was not kept warm under the lamps as well as it should be. The coffee was a disappointment. Dispensed out of a machine. It was very weak and tasteless. The buffet served at the funeral reception was slow at being replenished and many sandwiches, especially the tuna were a bit light on any filling There is plenty of parking and a good number of charging points for EV's plus a good number of bays for blue badge holders The grounds are well maintained and have some good walks around them. With well maintained global courses.
Amazing
Smashing time with Dan, jamie and Matt. Credit to Belton woods. Cheers
Belton Woods Lodges
Great stay at Belton Wood Lodges, beautiful setting, lovely spacious lodges, immaculately clean, en-suite bathrooms, lovely pristine white bedding and towels, comfy beds and fabulous balcony with loungers and outdoor dining set, everything we needed for a great family weekend. Lovely garden centre next door, very short drive/nice walking distance serving great food and bakery/gifts etc. Will definitely be back.
Another fab stay
Lovely stay with someone recital mention to Nat who served us in the restaurant. Lovely food and nice atmosphere with very genial and helpful wait staff. Thank you
EMMA
Had a lovely server named Emma today at Belton Wood, made the experience so nice and refreshing it’s nice to see younger people so easy to converse with :)
Meal served by Emma
Fantastic meal, Emma served us, couldn’t fault her, amazing service
Service excellence
Had an excellent meal in the hotel and Emma who served us was fantastic, charming, articulate and happy to have good banter.
Not too bad a find
Nice place to stay. Bed very large and comfortable. had a good nights sleep. Room lovely. Bathroom huge - could probably be designed more to utilise the space. Dinner was OK. Portions not too big. Curry had very little protein though, and I donated some of my protein to make it better. Could do better in this regard. Breakfast OK. Staff were nice. Did feel a little rushed at times during meals.
Beautiful
Lovely place to stay and special thanks to Hattie for serving our table. Hattie was friendly and soooo helpful. Will definitely be revisiting.

Hattie review

Belton Woods Experience
Fantastic place, had a lovely meal in restaurant served by Hattie, who was very attentive and made sure everything was spot on with our meal.
Very enjoyable couple of days golf.
Just back from 2 days golf and a 1 night stay. Hotel is very big, quite corporate and maybe lacking in character but it is perfectly fine, clean and well kept. Drinks with the 10% golfer's discount very reasonable. Food decent. No complaints, a decent 4 star standard. The golf courses are quite challenging. Greens acceptable, if not great, but given the time of year and the weather we have had that's understandable. I'm sure they will be much better after some better growing conditions and warmth. Two slight criticisms about the courses. First, there were a lot of mats in play. Fair enough, but with all the money that has been spent on the resort it would have been a good idea to put better mats in. They are tiny and impossible to get a tee into them apart from squeezing one into the broken rubber "thing". Second issue is the 18ths. Most of our groups accidentally played the Lakes 18th when playing the Woods. Only the last two groups played the right hole when advised by some members. Took another look the next day and although there are signs, the sign on the Lakes 18th was towards the back of the tee. It was not visible when walking off the Woods 17th to the orange tee, only when coming from the Lakes 17th as it was facing the back of the tee. I took the liberty of slightly turning the sign so you could actually see it from both directions. Little irritations but still a great venue for a golf break.
Staff were excellent
